Why is this blog even here? Some people may write as a means of procrastination. Okay, maybe I do that sometimes. Some people may write as a platform to project themselves, their pride, their opinions, and their ideas. Lord, would that not even be close to the reason I’m doing this. Some people write to vent. I pray that wouldn’t be my motivation either.
I’m blogging simply because I find it beneficial for my soul. A place to reflect, meditate, and overflow in regards to the wonderful things my God shows me through His Word or through various circumstances (which hopefully bring my mind back to the Word yet still). And in the meantime, hopefully someone gets edified in the process. I know it’s happened before, so I keep this thing public.
My prayer is that just maybe, you’d benefit some from this little corner of the Internet. And by benefit I don’t mean in any generic sense, but in a very Jesus-centric, soul-rending, sin-killing, heart-captivating sense.
